This class is is designed to teach you the basics of crocheting. The bag shown is similar to what we will be making in this class.

You should walk away with a basic knowledge of a couple crochet stitches as well as how to join panels.

Please note that we will have 3 hours in this workshop for working on this pattern, but you may not finish the entire project in that time…if you are brand new to crochet, it can take a little practice to get comfortable with the stitches and tension. I will do my best to ensure you understand how to complete your project on your own if we do not finish it in the class.

YOU WILL NEED TO GET:

*a total of 354.5 g or 600 yards of yarn of Medium weight yarn (4).

I recommend purchasing 2 skeins of Caron® Blossom Cakes™ Yarn. OR you can also get Caron All Day Cotton, (2) sets of 6 skeins. For those first starting, using a quality yarn will make a big difference.

*Crochet hook US size 6 or 8 is suitable for this pattern.

*Yarn needles for sewing the bag together.

*Scissors embroidery scissors work great.
