In this class we will be learning how to create a zig-zag stitch, eyelets in crochet as well as incorporating different colors in your pattern. Blankets can be made in many different sizes, please see chart below for reference. This workshop is beginner friendly.

Please note that we will have 3 hours in this workshop for working on this pattern, but you may not finish the entire project in that time…if you are brand new to crochet, it can take a little practice to get comfortable with the stitches and tension. And simply due to whatever size you are looking to make, a blanket can take longer than the allotted time. I will do my best to ensure you understand how to complete your project on your own if we do not finish it in the class.

YOU WILL NEED TO GET:

*a minimum of 1500 yards of yarn of Medium weight yarn (4).

I recommend purchasing a minimum of 4 skeins of Caron® Blossom Cakes™ Yarn. For those first starting, using a quality yarn will make a big difference. Please feel free to get multiple colors if you would like to! Make sure they compliment each other.

*Crochet hook US size 6 or 8 is suitable for this pattern.

*Yarn needles are always good to sew your ends in neatly.

*Scissors …embroidery scissors work great.
